How Does it work? #

The email address you want to obfuscator is encoded into an image file using Email Obfuscator. This image is then loaded into the webcomponent where it is drawn onto a hidden canvas and the data is decoded from it. All this is technically resource intensive for scrape bots since they would have to download/load the encoded image, run the script that decoded the image and renders the email address onto the DOM.
